Spring really is just around the corner.

The days are just starting to lengthen. It is definitely staying a bit lighter a little bit later.

And the sun is definitely brighter. The sun does appear higher and the shadows are starting to shorten.

The temperature feels as though it is gradually rising. Maybe just a tad! But it's definitely rising.

Yup! You can safely say spring has arrived!!!

Nows the time your spring flowering bulbs will be starting to appear.

Green leaves and stems will be popping up through the ground probing the air and braving any frosts that are still about. This is the first signs of good things to come.

And finally spring flowers appear. What a relief!

You are starting to cheer up. Daffodil, tulip and crocus, to name but a few, are beginning to flower their socks off.

Creating a wonderful flower show in your garden, patio tubs and window boxes, they give you a welcome and long awaited display of colour.

Spring flowering bulbs shout the arrival of another year for us gardeners. We have looked forward to this for….. well it seems forever!

Now spring is here, enjoy it for all its worth.

And it is worth an awful lot. Now your garden starts to come alive.

And spring flowering bulbs are the first to appear, they will bring a smile to your face. You will know what lies ahead!

Long sunny days. Profusely flowering borders. Richly scented pergolas straining under the weight of climbing roses and honeysuckle. Yup, summer ain't far away!!!

But we are getting ahead of ourselves.

Lets enjoy spring first and all the flowering bulbs that are abundant this time of year.

There are loads to choose from and once planted most are just left to grow and grow with very little, if any, care needed from you.

Many will naturalize, (produce new bulbs year on year), with no effort whatsoever needed from you!

So, planned correctly and choosing the right bulbs you can have a display that will brighten up any spring day.
