How to Propagate
and Grow Successfully

Dierama originate from South Africa and are a genus of cormous perennial summer flowering gardening plants.

Leaves are arching, fine and grass like.

Flowers hang from fine arching stems and are trumpet or funnel shape.

Flower colours range from red, pink, lilac and white

Classification: Perennial tuber.

Height: 75cm (30inches).

Dierama are a delicate yet hardy gardening plant and deserve a place in anyone’s garden.

Where: Ideal for moist borders and beds.

Grows and looks well when planted by the side of ponds.

Site: They prefer full sun, they thrive in it!

Provide a site shaded from winds.

Soil: Any moist but free draining soil.
