Chelone originate from North America and are a genus perennial gardening plants.
Leaves are ovate or toothed and lance shaped. White or rose flowers produced in autumn, fall, are borne on tight racemes and are two lipped. These gardening plants will tolerate extremely wet weather conditions providing the soil is free draining and does not remain water-logged.
