How to Propagate
and Grow Successfully


Brunnera originate from Europe and Western Russia and a re a genus of clump forming perennial gardening plants.

Leaves have long stalks are large, rough and heart shaped.

Small blue star shaped flowers are formed in panicles on hairy stems from late spring through to summer.

These pretty flowered, attractive leaved gardening plants make a welcome addition to any planting arrangement.

Where: Ideal as ground cover in borders and beds.

Grow them in wildlife garden settings set under the shade of trees or shrubs.

They are an ideal woodland plant.

Site: Brunnera prefer partial shade.

Soil: Any fairly moist but free draining soil.
