Asphodelus
How to Propagate
and Grow Successfully

Asphodelus originate from Europe, Asia and North Africa and are a genus of clump forming perennial gardening plants.

Leaves form in basal rosettes and are narrow and succulent.

Flowers are pink or white, star shaped and form in racemes, in winter and spring.

Asphodelus are small but attractive gardening plants and are a welcome sight during the winter months.

Where: They are ideal for winter or spring flowering borders or beds.

Grow them in groups of five or more among other bed and border plants.

Grow them in patio tubs and pots and window boxes for an exciting spring display.

Site: They prefer full sun.

Soil: Any rich, moist but very free draining soil.
