Arabis originate from the Mediterranean area and are a genus of perennial spring and summer flowering gardening plants.

They are evergreen and matt forming in growth habit.

Leaves are lance shaped and toothed and are covered with soft soft white pubescence.

Small white, occasionally pink, round flowers appear in late spring through to summer and have four petals.
