Anacyclus
How to Propagate
and Grow Successfully

Anacyclus originate from the mountain regions of the Mediterranean.

They are a genus of low growing almost prostrate perennial gardening plants which have fine dark green leaves and a central stem with daisy like flowers.

They are a very hardy, but short lived, perennial.

Species: A. depressus

Common Names: Anancyclus.

Classification: Perennial.

Height: 5cm (2inches).

Flowering: Throughout summer.


Where to plant info

If you are looking for good ground cover gardening plants these are definitely worth considering.

Although they are short lived they spread quickly and densely and have an abundance of flowers.

Where: Ideal as ground cover in borders and beds.

Grow them in wildlife garden settings set under trees or shrubs.

Anacyclus are an ideal woodland plant.

Site: They prefer full sun, they thrive in it!

They will also do well in partial shade.

Soil: Any very free draining soil.
